Hello Hugging Face team and community,
I would like to propose a new feature for user profiles on the Hugging Face Hub: a contributions chart similar to GitHub’s contribution heatmap. This chart would visually summarize a user’s yearly activity across the Hub, including:

Model and dataset uploads/updates

Space creation and updates
-
Commits to repositories
-
Discussions and comments
-
Other contributions such as likes or reviews
Such a visual contribution overview would help users showcase their activity and impact within the HF ecosystem more clearly, encourage engagement, and improve discoverability of active contributors.
It could be implemented as a calendar heatmap (like GitHub’s), with optional filters for different contribution types (models, datasets, Spaces, discussions, etc.).
Thank you for considering this feature request. I believe it would be valuable for both individuals and the community as a whole.
