Bonjour !

France-ML brings together our interest in French and machine learning. Language is full of details: expressions that don't translate neatly, different ways to say the same thing, and little nuances that can change the meaning of a sentence. That's part of what makes working with it interesting.

On this page, you'll find the public work we've shared on Hugging Face. Some things are practical, some are experiments, and each has its own context. We prefer to let the projects speak for themselves, with the details kept on their individual pages.

The middle column is what a word-by-word system sees. The right column is what a person means. Closing that gap is the whole reason we work on French.

Every project has its own page with details on intended use and licence, so check there before you build on anything.
