Can different Gemma 3 models be used as drop-in replacement?

Could I instead use weights from mlabonne/gemma-3-27b-it-abliterated for example? Or does this model only expect 4B stock to be loaded, could I load a 4B finetune if not 27B? Would I have to fine tune it for this model? How exactly does this work?
Also, other question, which is better? some_tag, or some tag
